An expert in the field of predictive and decision analytics, Larry was appointed Fair Isaac’s first Research Fellow in October, 2007 and currently fulfills that role on a half-time basis, continuing a 36 year career with the company that began in 1974. He served as Fair Isaac’s President and CEO from 1991 to 1999, growing the business from $31M to $276M.
His previous roles at Fair Isaac included leadership of the Research Unit and the Engineering R&D Division, where he focused on the technical development, production and marketing of the company’s most advanced products, such as TRIAD adaptive control and the FICO Score as well as advances in predictive analytics methodology.
Larry serves on a number of non-profit and for-profit boards, and holds a BS in Physics from MIT, MS in Physics and a MS and MEng in Operations Research from UC Berkeley.
